Welcome to the Hama Dance Center website. By accessing this site, registering for classes, or purchasing class cards, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. General Use
This website is operated by Hama Dance Center, located at 12117 Moorpark St., Studio City, CA 91604. By using this site, you confirm that you are at least 18 years of age, or are accessing it with the involvement of a parent or guardian.
2. Class Registration & Enrollment
- Class schedules, pricing, and availability are subject to change without notice.
- Enrollment in any class, workshop, or program constitutes agreement to Hama Dance Center’s studio policies, including attendance, conduct, and dress code expectations communicated separately.
3. Payments & Class Cards
- Payments for classes, class cards, and workshops are processed through Square and/or other listed payment methods.
- Class cards (single class, 5-pack, 10-pack) are non-transferable unless otherwise stated and are subject to any expiration policy communicated at time of purchase.
- All sales are final unless otherwise noted. Refunds, if applicable, are at the sole discretion of Hama Dance Center.
4. Studio Rental
- Studio rental bookings are subject to availability and separate rental terms provided at the time of booking.
- Renters are responsible for the condition of the space during their booked time.
5. Assumption of Risk & Liability
- Dance and physical movement carry an inherent risk of injury. By participating in any class, workshop, rehearsal, or event at Hama Dance Center, you assume all risks associated with such participation.
- Hama Dance Center, its instructors, and staff are not liable for any injury, loss, or damage arising from participation in classes or use of the studio, except as required by law.
- Participants under 18 must have a parent or legal guardian acknowledge these terms on their behalf.
6. Photo, Video & Media Release
- Hama Dance Center may photograph or film classes, rehearsals, and events for use in promotional materials, including social media and the website, in accordance with our Filming & Media Policy.
- Participation in filming is optional. Dancers and/or their parent/guardian must have a signed release form on file, which includes the option to opt out.
7. Recital & Event Tickets
- Tickets purchased for recitals or studio events are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by Hama Dance Center.
- Seating, timing, and event details are subject to change; updates will be communicated as available.
8. Intellectual Property
- All content on this website — including text, images, choreography descriptions, branding, and the Hama Dance Center name and mark — is the property of Hama Dance Center and may not be reproduced without permission.
9. Code of Conduct
- Hama Dance Center is committed to maintaining a respectful, safe training environment. Harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior toward instructors, staff, or fellow dancers will not be tolerated and may result in removal from class or the studio.
10. Changes to These Terms
Hama Dance Center reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of the website or participation in classes after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
