Risa Arisue
Risa started jazz dance at the age of 11 in japan and came to L.A. to pursue her dream in 2001, where she began studying with Kenji Yamaguchi and Hama and then joined Ken Dance Company in 2005 and performed local in LA until 2020.
Risa performed in Jazz Dance LA from 2002-2008, as well as the Lester Horton Dance Awards Show in 2006 and Frankie Anne’s Gypsy Roses Show in 2006.
Currently Risa is general Manager at Hama’s Dance Center since 2006 where she also teaches jazz. Risa had also been a dance coach for figure skaters at Toyota Sports Center in 2009~2013.
Since 2016, she has been collaborating with Jazz pianist Sunnie Paxson and with her band and has been performing in local LA.
